Lloyd made his fledgling assault on the stand-up world and gleaned a collection of awards confirming his natural ability to seduce timid outsiders into his world. He punts his own act as an ever-evolving mixture of real life stories, surreal flights of fancy and topical material. Lloyd was also a member of the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre; performing almost every comic role has set him up as a versatile and inventive actor, which he exploits throughout his act.
